Today, when I look back on my time at Leuphana, I ...

...I first think of the great people I met. Many of them are still in my close circle of friends today. Otherwise, I remember the beautiful campus and the extremely well-done bachelor's degree program.

How did your studies prepare you for your current job?

You worked in an interdisciplinary way and had to think outside the box. We also received a solid basic education in terms of business administration and psychology.

What are the advantages of studying at Leuphana?

The Leuphana semester and the start-up week network you much more than is the case at other universities. That was great. You have the freedom to set your own focus through minor and complementary courses. This makes the program very unscholarly.

To whom would you recommend studying at Leuphana?

People who want to take charge of their own affairs. If you want a fixed schedule and your 5 best friends, you're in the wrong place. If you want to choose something from all the courses and have an interdisciplinary network of friends, this is the right place for you.

What experience can I bring to the table as an Alumni Angel?

As a business psychologist with HR experience, I have theoretical and practical experience in personnel selection and development. This helps in advising people on their own "resume". I have seen many different stations in my studies and afterward and know the corporate world, agencies as well as the world of science. As a lecturer at FU Berlin, I give seminars on career opportunities in psychology.
