Phil­ipp San­der­mann is a pro­fes­sor of so­cial pedagogy at Leuphana University Lüneburg. His fields of interest include:

  • (comparative) welfare systems research,
  • theories of social pedagogy and social work,
  • child and youth welfare research (with a special interest in ombuds offices and complaint services and social space approaches),
  • refugee family studies,
  • trust research.
