Student Counselling Service
If you would like to reflect on topics relating to your studies and the organisation of your studies with professional support, take advantage of the counselling services offered by the Student Counselling Service. You can arrange an individual counselling appointment or drop by during Open Counselling Hours without making an appointment.
Whether you are choosing a degree programme, planning the course of your studies or changing direction - you will receive professional support from the Student Counselling Service in all phases of your Bachelor's degree programme at the College and in the Master's degree programme in Teacher Education. You will find us on campus in building 8, ground floor.
You can choose from various counselling options:
- The Open Counselling Hours take place on Wednesdays from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. (on Campus) and Thursdays from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. (digitally via Zoom) and can be used at short notice without registration. You can find the access details below.

UniTalk in english for international applicants
Unfortunately, the event has to be postponed. The replacement date is Tuesday, 4 March at 5 pm. Especially for prospective students of our English-language study programmes, we are organising a longer information event ‘UniTalk’. We will explain the application process and give helpful tips on studying in Germany. The event will take place via Zoom.

You can then apply for our study programmes between 15 May and 15 July.

Save the Date: UniTalk for those interested in German-language programmes
There will be a UniTalk in German on 19 March at 6.00 p.m. This is aimed at those interested in studying in German and who have German or EU/EEA citizenship. The event will take place via Zoom. Further information will follow at the beginning of January.
The Open Counselling can be used without prior registration and takes place on two dates:
Wednesdays 11.00 - 13.00 - on Campus in building 8, ground floor
Thursdays 16.00 - 18.00 - digital via Zoom

- After logging in, you will be in a chronological queue.
- You will be greeted by a student assistant and your request will be noted.
- From there you will be forwarded to the next available counsellor.
- We will take the necessary time for each of your concerns. Please allow between 10 and 20 minutes for a counselling session - and any waiting time.
- If the number of requests is very high, it is possible that we will not be able to counsel you that day.
Counselling by appointment is planned for the longer term and can be more detailed if required. Individual counselling is currently available via telephone and video counselling as well as on Campus.
