Cultural studies at Leuphana can look back on almost 40 years of tradition of cultural studies co-operation in research and teaching. Here, humanities and social science subjects such as sociology, history, art history, literature, media studies and philosophy work together interdisciplinary on cultural studies issues. In the extra-occupational further education programmes in the field of culture and cultural management, tradition meets the global perspective and practice of our cooperation partner, the Goethe-Institut. You will therefore benefit from an internationally oriented continuing education programme based on many years of current cultural studies research and teaching and study on a campus where culture is not neglected. For example, a festival organised by students attracts bands and music fans to the campus once a year, while internationally renowned artists exhibit their works in the renowned art space on campus.
